If trend-spotting journalists are to be believed, book clubs are on the rise. But what makes a book club great? The Afterword recently posed the question to four of the five Anansi Girls — Shani Mootoo, Emily Schultz, Karen Solie, and Zoe Whittall — the barnstorming lit gang who will be hosting an event called Anansi Girls and the Art of Book Club Maintenance on Wednesday, November 25, at 7 p.m. at The Ossington, 61 Ossington Avenue, in Toronto.
Interested in winning copies of the latest books from these four talented writers, and fellow Anansi Girl Lisa Moore? Be the first to send an e-mail to theafterword@nationalpost.com with the names of their latest books.
