Experimental Canadian poet Christian Bök is trying to embed poetry in a super-strong bacterium, and in turn, have it create new poetry.
But in order for this project to be successful, Bök must rely on a computer algorithm to generate word pairs, which restricts the words he can write into his poems.
Today on the show, he explained how his algorithm works. Take a listen, and let us know what you think… does placing constraints on creativity take the artistry out of art?
