New contact info / call for submissions
By Eric Hill • Jul 28th, 2010 • Category: Advice, Editorial Notes, Feature Post, News BriefsIt’s been a topsy turvy summer. The “to-do” and “got-done” balance continues to teeter dangerously backwards to the former, making August possibly a real pressure cooker. Thank goodness for the heat, huh? So let’s cross one thing off the “to-do” list right now: an update on how to get touch with Branta.
Sometime during the middle part of June the Netfirms e-mail account I had been using for Branta business first swallowed all but a handful of letters then followed that trick up by kicking me out completely. So I apologize if you sent in queries or submissions or anything over that last couple of months, but that stuff appears to be in the world wide dead letter office of the web.
From this point forward there is a new, and hopefully more stable, e-mail account for Branta and it is branta@gooselane.com. Please enter into you various address books and keep those close to your hearts, or your bookmarks, or wherever you keep special things.
And while you’re doing that… hey… you probably wrote or are writing something that we’d like to post at Branta, right? Is there a book you read, movie you saw, episode of Jersey Shore you obviously didn’t watch but somehow know all the details about? We’d like to know about it. Along with any of the usual other stuff: creative work of all type; creative non fiction; event notices; diary and travel writing; essays on lit-related issues; anything. We’re easy, and we need a little late summer love to keep us warm come autumn.
OK, so again, new address for submissions:
branta@gooselane.com
Thanks a large fraction of a million.
Eric Hill is the editor of branta.
