Tales for the Longer Days

By Eric Hill • Mar 12th, 2012 • Category: Feature Post, Goose Lane Authors, Ha Ha, Reading Horror(s), Tour Diaries, Travel

We have sprung forward now, and for all the grumbling over the lost hour of sleep we now benefit from longer lingering light in the evening, instead of having to watch the sun set just as we turn the keys in our front doors.  To celebrate the return of later days we will be having the second in the Gallery Connexion hosted Storytelling Series this Saturday March 17th (yes, St. Patrick’s Day).

In acknowledgment of both the oncoming spring and the Irish day of celebration we have made “Green” the theme for the evening, allowing for any number of interpretations for our presenters to craft their tales.  Three returning storytellers will be joined by three first-timers for what promises to be a revitalizing time full of laughs, sighs, drinks and maybe a jig or two.

This time around the event will be co-sponsored by Goose Lane Editions and as an added bonus they will have a book table offering specially discounted titles for this one night only.

So come out, dress green, get lucky.

Presenters are:

Molly Bauer
Matt Carter
Mark Jarman
Erin Keating
Megan MacKay
Jacques Poitras
