Thank you for your interest in Goose Lane Editions. Our aim is true.
What we publish
Goose Lane Editions specializes in high quality Canadian literary fiction, poetry, and non-fiction on subjects such as history, politics, biography, humour, travel, nature, and music. We only consider submissions from outside Canada if the author is Canadian and the book has extraordinary interest to Canadian readers.
We do not publish books for children or young adults, mystery novels, fictional crime stories or works of science fiction. We do publish books with a distinctive flair and a clear and resounding voice and vision. We publish books that take the reader on an original journey that fascinates, resonates, and captivates.
Who we publish
We publish works by both established and up-and-coming Canadian authors. Our esteemed stable of authors have contributed to distinguished literary journals and magazines such as The Fiddlehead, The Antigonish Review, Geist, The Malahat Review and Maisonneuve, newspapers such as the Globe and Mail, the National Post, the Telegraph Journal, and the Ottawa Citizen, magazines such The Walrus, MacLean’s, and the Atlantic Monthly, or broadcasters such as CBC, Radio Canada, and PBS..
